How do I make a reservation?

How far in advance should I place my reservation?

As soon as possible. Beginning in the spring our items become booked rather quickly. To ensure that you get the item that you prefer, on the date that you need it, you should make your reservation as early as you can.

Your prices are very reasonable. How long do I get to use the inflatable unit?

That is completely up to you. We have one flat rate for the day. We will deliver it as early as you would like, and pick it up as late as you like. If your party starts at noon, we can bring it at 10am so that your children can play before your guests arrive, giving you valuable organization time.

Who delivers and sets up the inflatable unit?

A trained Bounce House Man installation expert will deliver and setup your rental unit. On the day of your event, you simply point to where you want it setup, and we do the rest.

Does the price include delivery, setup, and pickup?

That depends on your location. Our office is located in Waxhaw (Approx. 10 minutes south east of Charlotte). If you are within approx. 10 miles of our location there is no charge for delivery. A delivery charge of $20 will apply if you are 10-20 miles from our office.
Please note: Beginning 4-23-08 each event requiring a delivery will incur a $10.00 fuel surcharge. This is a temporary fee (we hope!) that is in addition to the standard delivery fee, where applicable. Thank you for your understanding.

What if I am out of your delivery area?

In general, we do not deliver more then 20 miles from our office. If you are more then 20 miles away, we can arrange for you to pick up the item. The type of vehicle required to pick up will depend on the inflatable rental that you have chosen. We will provide you with step by step instructions, a verbal explanation of how to setup the unit, and supporting materials (stakes, tarp, power cords, blower, etc...)
In some circumstances, we may make an acception to this delivery rule. If your event is for charity, if it is a large event with multiple inflatable units, or if your event is on a non-peak day (not a weekend, not during the summer months), please contact us via phone or email to discuss options.

What if the weather is uncooperative? What is your cancellation policy?

We do not require a deposit up front to make a reservation. Therefor, you have nothing to loose if you are forced to cancel your reservation. We feel that if you are cancelling a previously scheduled party, there must be good reason, and you shouldn't have to worry about fees or penalties for doing so. We do ask that you try to let us know at least 24 hours in advance.

Are inflatable play structures safe for my children?

Absolutely! Bounce House Man inflatable rentals are durable, clean, and built with safety in mind. Mesh netting prevents children from falling or bouncing out and adequate hand and foot holds are located on inclined climbing surfaces.
Your children's safety will be very dependent upon how they play and how they are supervised. An adult should be present to monitor all activity on and around the inflatable unit to ensure that all participants are adhering to the safety rules and regulations. You will be given a printed guideline on proper safety concerns, including weight and size restrictions.

Are you insured and state inspected?

We are insured through a national agency that specializes in the inflatable amusement industry. A Certificate of Liability Insurance is available upon request.
South Carolina does not require inspections for inflatable amusements. North Carolina requires annual inspections by the Department of Labor for inflatable amusement devices that are used in "Amusement Parks" or "Carnival Areas". If your event is to be held at a location other then a residence, then you will be required to select from our LARGE INFLATABLES inventory, which are units that are state inspected and therefor available for non-residential use.

Where can I have an inflatable unit on my property?

We prefer to setup units on lawns that are level and free of debris such as rocks, sticks, and roots. However, we do have the ability to setup on driveways, in garages, or even indoors if adequate space is available. We use heavy duty tarps beneath the inflatables, and either stakes or sand bags to secure the inflatable.
